Dear Students,
I am writing to share with you the results of the surveillance testing of 275 students on Wednesday, September 23.
Three students tested positive. These students have been notified and are going into isolation. The contact tracing is complete, and close contacts are moving into quarantine. None of the close contacts are symptomatic. One of the students who tested positive is minimally symptomatic.
If you are on campus tonight, you may have seen activity in and around Schnader as students moved into quarantine or isolation in that building.
With three students testing positive, we remain in “moderate” risk status, as we have been since the beginning of the semester. This information reached us after we posted today’s dashboard update, and my colleagues and I felt it was important to share this information right away. I am writing now to inform the community as soon as possible.
Thanks for your attention.
Best wishes,
