Dear Students and Colleagues,
We are in that transition time when students begin their winter break, our faculty work to wrap up the term, and our professional staff members lean into the final busy weeks of the calendar year. It is also a perfect moment for me to write with congratulations to the entire community.
This has been a singularly arduous term, whether you were teaching, learning, or working on campus or remotely. Each person’s experience at F&M this fall presented its own challenges and opportunities. I am deeply proud of your creativity, resilience, and perseverance!
COVID-19 precautions have never been more important than they are right now, so please, be mindful, minimize your travel and your contact with others, and stay safe. I value each and every one of you, and I wish you all well as we draw a deep breath and begin to look ahead.
You’ll be hearing more from me soon, including information about the spring term, which will be upon us quickly!
