Brooks College House has completed its mandatory quarantine. Following the college house’s wait for negative test results after positive COVID results from wastewater testing, Alan Caniligia, the Vice President for Strategic Initiatives, told The College Reporter that he was “pleased to report that in the COVID-19 special test on September 15, no Brooks House residents tested positive. In addition, there’s more good news; the results from the wastewater test from a sample collected on September 14-15, results received September 19, showed no evidence of COVID-19.”

Dean Samble also commented on how well Brooks residents adapted to the periodic change: “Brooks students continue to impress me with their cooperation and good decision-making. The results from this round of testing mean that Brooksians may return to in-person classes and activities.”

For the remainder of campus, according to the Pandemic Operations Response Team, 1 student tested positive for COVID in the surveillance testing on September 10. This addition makes the cumulative positive test results since arrival to campus 11 cases. As of September 22nd, 25 students are in quarantine on campus, as they are at risk and waiting for tesut results.
